About Amber Bos

Amber Bos (Sri Lanka, 1985) is a fashion and beauty illustrator based in the Netherlands, working from her studio on the Veluwe. Her international background and Asian roots continue to influence her visual language, resulting in refined, atmospheric illustrations with a distinctive sense of elegance and depth.

Her passion for drawing and painting began at an early age and was further shaped during her studies at the Jan des Bouvrie Academy. After gaining experience as a designer, Amber combined commercial insight with artistic freedom by founding her own studio. In 2012, she released her first picture book, How Mouse Created the World, marking an important milestone in the development of her illustrative voice.

Fashion and beauty lie at the heart of Amber's work. She views illustration as a powerful storytelling medium, one that enhances luxury, femininity and identity. Her style is defined by elegant line work, a strong attention to detail and a refined aesthetic, making her illustrations a natural fit for high-end brands, editorial projects and premium campaigns.

Since 2021, Amber has been working full-time as an independent illustrator and creative.

Her portfolio includes collaborations with renowned fashion and lifestyle brands such as Fendi, Jimmy Choo, Cosmopolitan, H&M, Josh V, Reinders and Friends of the Brands.

Through her work, Amber brings an artistic and timeless dimension to fashion and beauty, sophisticated, expressive and unmistakably luxurious.
